-The book will be enclosed in a case covered in black book linen with the title embossed in black on the front
-Inside the case, a book (with a different cover) will be included. Part of this cover will be a tunnel book.
-The case also holds a special paper made of a dry erase board material, and a dry-erase marker. This piece of paper may be put under the surveys in the actual book for the reader to write their own answer to the survey.
-It should be around 250 pages long, with 200 photos and 50 transparent sheets (which will be a group of selected surveys) placed in groups throughout the book.
-The layout of the photos is designed in a way that certain elements in one photo (that may not be the focus of the photo) will connect to the next one. Example: a photo of a rainbow on a television will connect to a photo of a rainbow, or a ballet slipper in the background of a photo will relate to a photo with all ballet slippers, etc.
-The credits will be in the back of the book displayed as photo negatives.
-Materials used will be 8.5x11 250 page book, transparent paper (for surveys), a case covered in book linen with an embossed cover, dry erase board paper & a pen inside the case.

Second (Fantastical) Concept

-Our second concept for The Girl Project is a lifesize tunnel book.
-This will be a one of a kind version of The Girl Project.
-It will look like a strip of negatives, 4 frames long and 5 "rooms" back.
-The text for this concept will all be handwritten by the girls.
-The viewer will be able to interchange the panels (which will be images printed on plexiglass) to order the images themselves to make their own collage.
-Surveys will also be printed on plexiglass and either placed throughout the "rooms" or will be the very last panel.
-Materials used: Lifesize plexiglass, Plywood frames, Large Illustration board, Plexi-mount printing and laser cutting.
