Title Idea: “Remember When..”
* This book follows the concept of a diary
* The book would incorporate hand-drawn images and lettering with the photographs and questionnaires.
* Chapters would be sorted by color
* Pages would have the appropriate color encompassing the photograph (instead of white-space) that is related to the chapter it follows
* Bound with the spiral concept
* Introduction page and page of credits would have the illusion of being printed on lined paper
* The book would consist of a few Gate Pages (that allow the user to interact with the spread)
Concept #2
Title Ideas:
“The Colors Inside Her”
“Underneath Her Skin”
"Full Circle"
* Pictures are sorted by color (chapters are color-coordinated and pictures will be placed within the chapter appropriate to the majority color within the photo)
* Each titled chapter division would have a (different) colored page with die cuts
* Pages should consist of matte paper and a thick cardstock
* A French Fold with perforated edges would be used to allow the user to open each spread to reveal two questionnaires behind the pages opened. The questionnaires would also have a colored stripe along the bottom coordinated with the color of the chapter it follows
* The index of images would take on the illusion of a spinning color wheel, using the concept of movement and windows to reveal the names of girls. The top layer consists of the girls’ photos, and the bottom layer is moved to see the names
