Staci, Alexa, Garrett

PART ONE: Production Revisions
- Cover did not wrap a round, got squeezed onto just the front. Increase the blacks to make less muddy.
- Bleeds on most pages, we marked where bleed is necessary
- Some images seem pixelated, check resolution
- Clean up hand drawn type edges
- Change Courier to American Typewriter (because courier is monospace)
- Adjust some of the layouts for better flow (both color gradation and image placement)
- Fix images that don't work with gutter

PART TWO: Additional Design & Packaging
- Size for lulu book is good, size for dream book will be half of a letter size (5.5" x 8.5")
- Practical version has index on the bookjacket and folded up as the same size as the mini-books in the dream project.
- Dream book will be 6 separate mini-books, each book composed of a different color. Books will be packaged in a slip box with flat-color spines exposed.
- Dream will be french fold with color blocks inside, practical one will be printed using lulu and glued into hardcover casing, unattached at the spine.
- With the mini-books in the dream package, the separate covers will be composed of the most vividly colored photograph for that books respective color.
- We will print and fold pages for dream book on our own, the have it perfect bound and insert that into a handmade case book.

PART THREE: PRODUCTION SCHEDULE

Garrett is going to take notes made in the lulu book and make the changes in InDesign. He will then create index for the back of the book, and increase the size of the poster-index. He will then send the revised pdf to Alexa and Staci for approval. Alexa will then take these spreads and turn them into the proper format for french folds. Staci will eventually send this pdf to Lulu.com . Meanwhile, Alexa will be making hardcases for both the Lulu book and the six minibooks, which will be printed at Staples by Staci. Once Stacis gets these, she will fold them and have them perfect bound by East Side Copy. Staci will then give these perfect bound mini books, in addition to the final lulu perfect bound books to Alexa, who will then create hard cover casings for them.
