ASSIGNMENT 2 (Due Feb 10)

PART ONE
You have been given a disposable camera. Take photos until there are no frames remaining.
The photographs should represent your life as seen through your eyes. We need your vision, creativity and honesty. Pop culture is overflowing with images, ideas and values about who you are or ought to be – most often created and communicated by artists. This project encourages you to be the author of your visual narrative. Remember – your eyes and photographs tell the story. What you photograph and how you photograph it means something. There are no rules for taking pictures. Shoot what and who you want. Shoot close-up or from far away. Take pictures of yourself, other people, things or landscapes. Use the camera to express your feelings and thoughts – happy, sad, angry or indifferent.

NOTE: Be sure to use what you have learned from the Visual Questionnaire in deciding what photos to take. How are the photos related? How do they tell a visual story all together? Do not be random.

WORK DUE
Hand in your camera – the instructors will have the photos developed and distribute them the following class.
