• Slow down
• Introduce yourselves
• Create your "story" using visual material (final book(s) with additional elements)
• Relate your project to what the client has said
• Divide up the speaking/showing – each group member must present an equal amount
• Have something to give to client after your presentation with your contact information

ASSIGNMENT 11 (Due April 28)

This is the last class before your final projects are due on May 5.

PART ONE
Complete pdf proposal taking into account the issues raised during class. Bring a printed copy.

PART TWO
Present sketches for how the photography of the standard book and dream book will be done. This set of visual instructions will explain how the photos should be shot. Clarify who is shooting this, when, costs (if any) and confirmation that delivery date will occur before May 5. (Photos are due in class on May 5.)

PART THREE
Bring Lulu books and any additional packaging, print tests, sample materials, color and paper tests etc; bring in everything that will be part of the final presentation. We will not be working from the blog.

WORK DUE
Bring EVERYTHING into class-although we will not be working from the blog, please post all material on the class blog. Be sure to do this BEFORE class.

ASSIGNMENT 10 (Due April 21)

PART ONE
Send final layouts to Lulu for production. Allow enough time to build any extra components included in the final book presentation.

PART TWO
Prepare a proposal that explains each book concept: Dream Concept / Client Concept. The proposal should be self explanatory with visual diagrams, measurements and minimal text. Make the projects look as real as possible. This will become part of your final presentation to the client / publisher.

PART THREE
Bring any production samples or updates to class to show the status of what you will present.

WORK DUE
Bring prototypes into class. Post proposals on the class blog. Be sure to do this BEFORE class.
